Receptionist Position
Role: Receptionist
Responsible to: Front of House Manager
Key Role: To provide an efficient and helpful reception to all customers of Overstone Park, focusing on excellent customer service.
Salary: starting £12,064 (£12,979 after 3 months probation period)
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, presentable person with an administration and customer service background. Hotel or hospitality experience desirable. Good personal and telephone manner and computer skills essential. Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they can work under pressure in a fast paced environment. The role will involve greeting customers, checking in and out hotel & leisure guests, taking payments and cashing up, taking and checking bookings for the hotel, classes and functions, as well as general administration tasks. Candidates must be confident in dealing with the general public and problem solving. Involves working weekends and shifts from 6.30am – 14.30pm and 14.30pm – 22.30pm, 40 hours per week.

Position: Food and Beverage Assistant (Bar and Restaurant)
Hours of Work: 6.30am - 2.00pm 5 days out of 7
Rate of Pay: Meets National Minimum Wage
A friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing individual is required for this busy Clubhouse operation. Providing a high standard of service of food and beverages between the hours of 7.00am and 2.00pm.
Duties will include Breakfast and Lunch service in the Restaurant and the service of alcoholic drinks, beverages and food in the bar, together with the preparation of the restaurant for the service of lunch and dinner.
Ancillary duties will include banqueting service, the stocking of the bar and occasional cleaning duties.
The successful applicant will be a cash handler using a point of sale till.
Experience in a similar position preferred but full training will be provided.
To comply with liquor licensing requirements, this position is open only to applicants aged over 18 years.
Position: Night Cleaner
Hours of Work: 9:30pm - 1:30am Monday to Saturday and 8:30pm - 12:30am Sundays. You will be required to work 2 nights out of 7 on a rolling rota with the occasional option for extra shifts.
Rate of pay: Starting wage of £6.86 and reviewed after 3 months
We are looking for a reliable individual to be part of our night cleaning team, to ensure high standards of cleanliness in the critical areas of the clubhouse including pool and associated areas, leisure and golf changing rooms, bar, foyer and reception.
Experience in a similar position preferred but full training will be provided.
This is a temporary position until 11th July 2010. Maternity Cover
