All guests are offered complimentary use of our luxury health club and outdoor tennis courts. A round of Golf on our Championship 18 Hole Golf Course is also *complimentary for those guests staying during the week (April - October).
*Free use of golf course is offered to hotel guests (Monday to Thursday after 4pm and tee times are subject to availability on the day). At all other times, guests are offered discounted green fees. Please note that although we do not request that every golfers holds a handicap, it is necessary to assert a good standard.

Accommodation

1  Reservations

All bedroom reservations remain unconfirmed until such time a deposit or credit card guarantee or payment in full is received.

All unconnfirmed reservations will be released at 12.00 noon on the day of arrival.

Cancellations are accepted for up to three bedrooms up to 12.00 noon prior to arrival without incurring a cancellation charge. Cancellations for four or more bedrooms are required by 12.00 noon the day prior to arrival to avoid a charge. Cancellations received after these times will be charged in full.

Reservations are reserved only for the named guest. Bookings are not transferable. Bookings may be made on someone else's behalf. You are responsible to ensure that customer in your booking complies with these terms as if that customer had made the booking.

2  Room Rates

Room rates are per room per night and are inclusive of VAT. Overstone Park Leisure Limited reserves the right to review its room rates from time to time without prior notice. The rate you will be charged will be the rate quoted to you at the time your booking was made. Bookings made via the Overstone Park Web site and/or with any third party internet booking agencies will be honoured only at the rate confirmed electronically by the internet booking site.

3  Room Occupancy

The maximum number of occupants in your bedroom is determined by your confirmation. Single occupancy is restricted to one person whilst double occupancy is restricted to two persons occupying a bedroom. Where a bedroom is reserved for a family, the occupancy is restricted to the number of persons confirmed, not exceeding two adults and two children unless otherwise stated. All occupants aged over sixteen years must complete a guest registration form on arrival. Overstone Park Leisure Limited reserves the right to evict any unauthorised occupant together with any guest associated with the unautorised occupant from the hotel. In such cases, no refund shall be offered (see point 7)

4  Groups

The person making the booking ("the party leader") must be at least 18 years of age and must be authorised to make the booking on the basis of these Booking Conditions by all persons named on the booking. By making the booking, the party leader confirms that he/she is so authorised and that all party members agree to be bound by these Booking Conditions. The party leader is responsible for making all payments due to Overstone Park Leisure Limited. If requested we will provide a confirmation by fax, email or post. This will be sent to the party leader. Please  check this carefully as soon as you receive it. Contact us immeadiately if any information appears to be incorrect or incomplete as it may not be possible to make changes later.

5. Check in

Check in is available from 2.00pm on the day of arrival until 11.00pm.
Please contact reception to make arrangements prior to your arrival if it is to be after 11.00pm

6  Payments

Overstone Park accepts payment by cash, credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard,American Express, Switch/Maestro, Delta, Solo/Electron). Personal cheques are only accepted up to the value of the supporting cheque guarantee card.

Where Corporate Credit accounts have been agreed, the billing instructions must be confirmed in writing/fax/email prior to arrival.

Unless credit facilities have been agreed in advance, all accounts are to be settled upon departure.

In-house credit facilities will not be extended to "walk-in" guests and unconfirmed reservations. Any additional charges incurred during the course of the stay must be settled at the point of sale.

7  Late Departures

Check out time is 10.30am, (Monday - Friday) and 11.00am (Weekends). A late check out will be subject to an additional charge equivalent to the published tariff for that particular day.

 8  Conduct and Behaviour

When you book with us, you accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused by you or any member of your party. In the event of wilful negligent interuption to the business or to other customers, Overstone Park Leisure Limited will charge the amount of any loss to the customer and terminate the contract. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be paid direct at the time to Overstone Park Leisure Limited or to any other affected customer. If you fail to do so, you will be responsible for meeting any claims subsequently made against us (together with our own and the other party's full legal costs) as a result of your actions. Overstone Park Leisure Limited reserves the right at any time to terminate your stay or that of any members of your party due to misconduct, where justified in our reasonable opinion. No refunds will be given. Furthermore, neither shall Overstone Park Leisure Limited be under any obligation whatsoever to pay compensation or meet any costs or expenses you may incur as a result of your stay being terminated.

Parents/guardians are responsible for children in their charge. Children must be supervised at all times and are to be prevented from disturbing the enjoyment of any guest at Overstone Park. They are to be prevented from venturing towards the allurement of the ponds, lakes, the golf course and into the gym and swimming pool suite. These areas pose a risk to the health and safety of any unsupervised children.

 9  Car Parking

Car parking on the premises is free of charge during the duration of the stay. The management though will not be liable for any loss, damage, theft or injury to any property which may occur upon the premises or land owned by Overstone Park Leisure Limited.

10  Leisure Club/Swimming Pool

Restrictions relating to the use of the Clubhouse leisure facilities and opening times are entirely at the discretion of the leisure club manager. Additional restrictions do apply for the use of such facilities by children. There may be a charge for the use of some facilities.

11 Golf Breaks and Green Fees

Where golf is included as part of an inclusive package, it is necessary for you to arrange your own tee times with the pro-shop. Failure to book your tee times in advance of your arrival may result in no tee times being available. Should this occur, there will be no concessions or reductions to the tariff. Green Fees at a reduced rate are offered to hotel residents, subject to availability, who may book their tee times in advance or upon arrival at the hotel. (Further information is available from the Pro-shop). The Golf Course operates a dress code for players to adhere to when on the course. If you are in doubt as to whether your standard of dress complies, further information is available from the pro-shop.

12  Smoking Policy

The vast majority of our bedrooms have been designated as no-smoking rooms. Anyone smoking in one of our bedrooms designated as a "No Smoking Room" will be charged £100.00 as a cleaning charge.

13  General Conditions

Electrical equipment such as toasters, mini cookers and portable grills may not be used in any bedrooms as they may set off the sensitive fire alarms. Naked Lights and Scented Candles are also prohibited. Tampering with the fire detection equipment provided for the safety of all our guests must not occur and would be treated as a criminal offence.

Overstone Park Leisure Limited doesnot accept liability for any failure to provide services contracted due to circumstances beyond our control including industrial action, postal communication, plant failures, supply of gas, electricity and water or fire alarm evacuation.

The details of these terms and conditions do not remove the common law duty to mitigate losses.
